On August 31, Korean Nurse Organization has reported that IU has made a donation to help healthcare workers fighting over COVID-19 Pandemic.

Due to the increase of COVID-19’s confirmed cases, Korea is going through a hard time. To help nurses who are working in the front line and fighting over COVID-19, IU has donated 100 million Won (~$84,246) to buy 46,000 ice vests. She has donated through the Community Chest of Korea. The cooling vests will be sent to various organizations including testing stations and medical facilities. This equipment helps nurses from getting over heated from their protective gear due to hot weather.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time IU has donated to help overcome COVID-19. She has previously donated 200 million won in February to support healthcare workers fighting over COVID-19!

Thank you for the good influence IU!
